Methodist Ministers at the Victoria/Pakan Missions The names Victoria and Pakan become a bit confusing. The town took on the name Pakan after 1887 when their post office came. Yet when speaking about the missions, Victoria refers to the first mission to the natives and to the home mission that came after. Pakan mission refers to the mission to the Ukrainains. (The Ukrainians, of course, are also referred to as the Austrians, or as the Galicians). More information about the Pakan mission to the Ukrainians can be found under the Settlement Menu. 1863 - 1871 George McDougall 1871 - 1872 John McDougall 1872 - 1874 Peter Campbell
