Victoria School Site60 pupils taught by Mr. Denney, 1924

In 1919 the Victoria School was moved to the S.E. corner of N.W. Section 21, Tp. 58 R 17, W4. In 1927 a second room was expanded onto it, and in 1943 it burnt down. The following year it was rebuilt and in 1952 it was moved to Smoky Lake where it served first as a classroom, and then, after 1980, as the Smoky Lake Museum.

Today, a small camping site, picnic grounds and cairn mark the location.
